It's a sad day...I've decided to sell my car. But in the interest of having money for school, it's become a necessary evil. Know anyone who needs a nice, reliable German automobile? This 2002 Volkswagen GTI has less than 60 k miles and is in excellent condition. Do I sound like a cheesy salesman yet?
I'm going to buy a cheaper car and save the rest of the money to put towards school. I'm asking $10,500, but will negotiate if necessary.

On a different note, I went to see Arvada Center's Evita last night. Beautiful set! I don't know if I agree with all of the design choices necessarily, but it was beautifully executed! Serious kudos the the builder and painter. It looked as though the entire show took place inside a fancy hotel, though. Which, for certain scenes, worked brilliantly, but for some of the "common people" scenes, it created an odd disconnect. But I will leave my commentary at that...lovely set. And that the lead men were quite good (Che was fantastic).
I will say, however, that I found myself enjoying the music much more when watching the stage version. The movie left me feeling bored with the music, but this one I rather enjoyed. There's something to be said for experiencing the music closer to how it was originally intended. I'm very intrigued to see how Performance Now's production comes together!
I do intend to keep a more current blog in the coming months. Life got busy lately, so I'm a bit behind. One reason I was so busy is that I got to work as a runner for the David Copperfield show at the Denver Center. It was a fun job, and an interesting insight into the world of a traveling show. I did have to sign my life and my firstborn child away, however, promising that I would not give away any of David's closely-guarded secrets (if, by chance, I happened to glimpse any of his "secrets" lying around). My lips are sealed, but I will say this: The spray-on hair club for men is alive and strong!
